Job summary

UPMC Muncy is seeking a full-time Team Lead for the Environmental Services Department. The role is on second shift, 2:45pm-11:15pm, with occasional weekends.

The Team Lead will direct Environmental Services Associates to maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate has at least two years of Environmental Services experience, strong interpersonal skills, and basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act in a supervisory capacity in the absence of the shift supervisor.
• Report problems and suggestions to the shift supervisor.
• Communicate with unit personnel and other departments for needs to complete assignments.
• Ensure daily work is assigned and team members are in their areas.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for subordinates; report issues.
• Inspect assigned areas to ensure proper cleaning and repair.
• Follow safety and sanitation regulations and policies.
• Comply with Hospital/Department policies and procedures.
