Job summary

Magee - Women's Hospital of UPMC is hiring a Full Time Team Leader to support the Environmental Services (EVS) department on the 3rd shift. The role requires rotating weekend and holiday availability to align with hours of operation.

The Team Leader will supervise EVS staff, coordinate daily workloads, ensure room and area cleanliness, and maintain supplies while upholding safety and sanitation standards in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in Environmental Services or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the supervisor.
• Report problems and suggestions to the shift supervisor.
• Communicate with unit personnel and other departments to complete assignments.
• Ensure daily work is assigned and team members work in their areas.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available and report issues to the shift supervisor.
• Inspect areas to ensure they are clean and in good repair.
• Follow safety and sanitation regulations and hospital policies.
