Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Environmental Services (EVS) employees; assist with scheduling, coaching, counseling, discipline, and training.
• Manage employee questions and guest concerns to ensure adherence to procedures, policies, and service standards during shift.
• Provide direction and support to achieve high cleanliness standards in the Casino, Public Areas, Offices and other required areas.
• Conduct daily inspections, briefings and updates; train and coach employees as needed.
• Prepare end-of-shift reports and coordinate property maintenance issues with facilities
• Offer professional, friendly and engaging service consistently
• Assist with other administrative and operational functions in collaboration with department leadership

THE JOB:

The Environmental Services Supervisor at MGM Grand will set the stage for guest experience with your smile and service. THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Responsible for supervisory duties for team of environmental Services (EVS) employees. Assists with scheduling, coaching, counseling, discipline and training of employees
• Manages employee questions and guest concerns to ensure all department procedures, policies, and service standards are being adhered to during shift
• Provide direction and support to achieve the highest cleanliness standards in the Casino, Public Areas, Offices and other required areas
• Conduct daily inspections, briefings and team updates: meet with employees as needed for training, coaching, and facilitating required compliance training
• Responsible for preparing end of shift report and manage any property maintenance issues with facilities
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist with other administrative and operational functions in collaboration with department leadership

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant prior experience required
• Experience in general cleaning within a resort environment preferred
