Job summary

Reserve Care is seeking an EVS Supervisor to lead our environmental services team at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake, OH.

You will coordinate cleaning, safety, staffing, and policies, ensuring high-quality patient and staff spaces while maintaining compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards.

Requires at least two years of Team Lead or Supervisor experience in a relevant setting, EVS knowledge, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Two years of Team Lead, Project Manager or Supervisor experience in a clinical, hotel, or property management setting.
• Previous supervisor experience is required.
• Minimum of 1 year EVS experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform building and grounds security checks.
• Investigate security incidents and complete appropriate documentation.
• Respond to crisis intervention and emergency preparedness, alarms, etc.
• Maintain sidewalks and building entrances (snow removal, ice melt, trash removal).
• Perform Durable Medical Equipment program tasks.
• Receive and deliver materials to appropriate locations.
• Stock linen and remove soiled linen.
• Prepare routine and special event setups.
• Respond to maintenance and repair requests.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Perform janitorial and housekeeping tasks including cleaning patient rooms.
• Perform general floor care (buffing, scrubbing, waxing, extracting).
• Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
• Assist in training and orienting personnel.
• Maintain employee records and participate in staff meetings and committees.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, JCAHO, and state/federal regulations.
