Job summary

The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor 1 in Junction City to lead custodial teams and ensure EVS aligns with Joint Commission, CMS, OR-OSHA, CDC, and sanitation standards. You will schedule, train, and coach staff, monitor performance, and support a safe, clean hospital environment.

This in-office role emphasizes developing staff, coordinating inspections, and upholding quality expectations while fostering a diverse, engaged workforce.

Qualifications

• Two years of lead, foreman, or supervisory experience OR six months plus vocational or construction training related to the class concept OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience planning, delivering, and coordinating employee training, including new-hire orientation.
• Experience interviewing, coaching, counseling, and resolving personnel issues per HR policies.
• Experience fostering employee engagement and promoting cultural diversity initiatives.
• Experience conducting facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with standards.
• Experience in floor care, including training staff and operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Directs and monitors custodians to meet Environmental Services (EVS) cleanliness standards and regulatory requirements.
• Plans, delivers, and coordinates staff training and scheduling.
• Maintains records, monitors performance, and ensures adherence to policies and quality expectations.
• Oversees floor care operations and equipment handling.
