Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA is hiring an Environmental Services Supervisor for the evening shift with oversight of the 3rd shift. This is a full-time role with hours 3pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday, rotating weekends.

The Environmental Services Supervisor assists the manager in planning, organizing, supervising and coordinating department activities to maintain a clean and safe environment. The role includes providing technical guidance and supporting the team while upholding Sentara

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Some college preferred
• Housekeeping/Environmental Services experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager in planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating and controlling department activities to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Provide assistance, serve as a technical resource and participate as a team member
• Contribute to department success through effective work coordination and resource management
• Support Sentara mission, values, goals and directions to assigned team members
