Job summary

Maverick-Nv-LL is seeking a casino janitorial associate to keep lobbies, offices, and casino areas clean and welcoming. You will sanitize touchpoints, manage trash, and operate cleaning equipment to maintain a safe, sanitary environment for guests and staff.

The role requires standing for long periods, adherence to safety guidelines, and availability for all shifts including weekends and holidays. Uniforms must be worn and maintained throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; follow through and courtesy under minimal supervision.
• Must be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Wear and maintain uniforms properly.

Responsibilities

• Clean lobby, administrative offices, bathrooms, and casinos as assigned.
• Clean and maintain outside appearance and cleanliness of the casino.
• Sanitize, clean, polish, wax, dust, and maintain touchpoints including woodwork, windows, slot machines, elevators, wall fixtures, televisions, floors, and walls.
• Maintain guest satisfaction and exemplary guest service.
• Remove trash throughout the casino.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Handle cleaning chemicals per OSHA and company guidelines.
• Stock housekeeping supplies for employee and public restrooms.
• Ensure casino and guest security; report suspicious activity to MOD or Security.
• Perform related and/or other duties as required.

Pay Range: $13 - $15 per hour

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Clean lobby, administrative offices, bathrooms, and casinos as assigned.
• Clean and maintain outside appearance and cleanliness of the casino.
• Follow all company and department policies and procedures and Maverick Cleaning and Sanitation guidelines.
• Sanitize, clean, polish, wax, dust, and maintain all touchpoints including, woodwork, windows, slot machines, elevators, wall fixtures, televisions, floors, and walls in all areas of the casino continually, except the kitchen, throughout shift.
• Maintain a commitment to guest satisfaction and exemplary guest service.
• Remove trash on a continuous basis throughout casino.
• Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment.
• Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and company requirements.
• Stock housekeeping supplies as needed for employee and public restrooms.
• Follow security policies and procedures and report all violations. Perform duties in compliance with

• Report suspicious activity to M.O.D or Security.
• Perform related and/or other duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision.

• Availability to work all shifts including weekend and holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work in a fast-paced casino environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach above your head, frequently go up and down stairs and be feet for majority of the shift.
