Job summary

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Services Lead to guide daily EVS operations and support patient care environments. You will lead staff, coordinate tasks, and ensure cleaning and disinfection of patient areas, public spaces, and support areas.

You will participate in onboarding, training, and coaching, while maintaining equipment and inventory and promoting infection prevention and safety standards across the unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead by example and support daily team operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to customer service and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Environmental Services staff during daily operations.
• Coordinate daily assignments and assist staff in completing cleaning responsibilities.
• Perform cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, public spaces, and support areas.
• Inspect patient rooms after discharge or transfer for cleanliness and readiness.
• Onboard, train, and coach new EVS team members.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, supplies, and inventory.
• Promote compliance with infection prevention and safety standards.
