Job summary

Presque Isle Downs, Inc. is hiring an EVS Lead responsible for maintaining high guest satisfaction through clean and safe public areas of the property, including the lobby, gaming floor, lounges, restrooms, offices, restaurants, and parking areas.

The role requires supervising EVS staff, ensuring adherence to standards, training program development, and coordination of supplies and daily operations. Weekend and night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise team members in the EVS Department.
• Ensure EVS Attendants are performing duties as instructed.
• Maintain awareness of safety and accident prevention.
• Supervise training program development for EVS employees.
• Ensure day-to-day activities run smoothly and meet standards.
• Prepare ordering requisitions for EVS.
• Clean spills and biohazardous materials.
• Keep storage areas clean and carts stocked and tidy.
• Stock utility carts with cleaning supplies.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors as required.
• Promote the department’s services to staff and visitors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
