Job Summary

As an Operations Manager, you will oversee support services operations, coordinate frontline staff, and serve as a liaison between administration and departments to deliver high-quality service.

Responsibilities
  1. Establish and review standards and work procedures annually.
  2. Plan work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate service.
  3. Assist in hiring, interviewing, and training new staff.
  4. Orient, develop, and supervise supervisory/housekeeping staff.
  5. Conduct inspections and recommend improvements.
  6. Report monthly on goals, achievements, and plans.
  7. Provide staff education and ongoing training.
  8. Communicate effectively with staff and other departments.
  9. Coordinate outside services such as pest control, waste management, and recycling.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum 4 years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
  2. At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a high-contact support service role.
  3. Effective written and oral communication skills.
  4. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a stressful environment.
  5. Demonstrate initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
  6. Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet use.
  8. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
