Job Summary

Summary: As an EVS/Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the environmental services department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service. You will coordinate staff, manage operations, and serve as a liaison between administration and staff to deliver exceptional support services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and review standards and work procedures for staff annually.
  2. Plan work schedules and staffing to ensure adequate coverage and service quality.
  3. Assist in hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training new associates.
  4. Orient, develop, and supervise supervisory/housekeeping staff.
  5. Conduct regular inspections and recommend improvements.
  6. Prepare monthly reports on goals, achievements, and plans.
  7. Provide ongoing staff education and training programs.
  8. Communicate effectively with staff, administration, and other departments.
  9. Coordinate outside services such as pest control, window cleaning, waste management, and recycling programs.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a support service role with high customer contact.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership qualities.
  • Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet navigation.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
