Job summary

The Staff Pad partners with a local hospital in Las Vegas, NM to hire an EVS Housekeeper who will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals. This full-time role includes day and night shifts, and a focus on patient comfort and safety throughout the facility.

You will clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all areas meet sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Ensure all assigned areas meet hospital cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Properly dispose of trash, biohazard waste, and linens.
• Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizing materials.
• Always follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Respond to cleaning requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Work under limited supervision while following written and verbal instructions.
• Promote a positive and professional environment with patients, staff, and visitors.
• Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
