Job summary

The Professional Group (TPG) is seeking a Cleaning Professional to maintain safety and cleanliness at the Dearborn site in Michigan.

You will follow the supervisor's instructions, perform floor care, restroom cleaning, dusting, and general maintenance, and communicate with the client to deliver top-quality service.

This role requires a High School Diploma, the ability to pass a background check, and flexibility to work varying hours.

Responsibilities

• Relieve, assist, or fill in temporarily on other jobs as directed by the supervisor.
• Dust, sweep, mop floors; wash windows; clean floors as scheduled.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replace supplies as needed.
• Report damage or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Load and unload supplies and equipment.
• Assist in maintenance work or minor repairs as needed.
• Clean tools and store them properly after use.

External Description

General duties of the Cleaning Professional are to maintain safety and cleanliness of the worksite, to communicate with the client to provide the best service possible, and to represent the culture of PBS to our clients

Requirements

• Report to and follow the directions of the building supervisor. Follow schedule and do things as they appear on it. Relieve, assist, or fill in temporarily on other jobs assigned by the supervisor
• Dust, sweep, and/or mop floors as necessary; wash windows and window sills as needed; scrub or strip and wax floors as scheduled; sweep exterior walkways
• Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures, hardware, tile, mirrors, partitions, floors, etc. Replace restroom supplies as needed
• Report any damage to your supervisor and report maintenance needs
• Load and unload supplies and equipment
• Assist in any maintenance work or minor repairs as needed
• Clean all tools, supplies, and equipment after each use and store in their proper place

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Be willing to work flexible hours, based on the needs of the Company

Physical Demands

• Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking and kneeling
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
