Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking an EVS worker to maintain cleanliness of carpeted and hard surfaces across the facility. The role includes preventative maintenance on specialty floor equipment and participation in committees and projects as assigned by the EVS Director.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills, with CPI training due within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the EVS Director or designee.
• Clean and maintain all carpeted and hard surfaces in the facility.
• Performs preventative maintenance on special floor equipment.
• Work on special projects and committees assigned by the Director of EVS.
