Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services and floor maintenance with dignity and respect for patients.
• Follow infection control policies to keep patient areas clean and safe.
• Clean patient rooms and discharge rooms promptly for admissions.
• Maintain non-patient areas, offices, and common areas.
• Handle chemicals safely and use PPE correctly.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained; report issues promptly.
• Place wet floor signage and report hazards to prevent accidents.
• Restock and organize cleaning supplies; care for equipment at start/end of shift.
• Report damage to cleaning equipment to supervisor and tag out of service.
