Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem EVS/Transport Dispatcher for the Clinical Operations Center at Florham Park/Morristown. Required hours vary, including alternating weekends; no on-call shifts.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Serve as an office dispatcher, categorizing and tracking all requests for Environmental Services and transport dispatches based on priority.
2. Manage and triage incoming calls, emails, and in-person requests, including future requests and staff assignments.
3. Coordinate, log, and track all Environmental Services and transport requests; route completed requests to appropriate departments.
4. Document calls requesting Environmental Services in the department tracking system.
5. Coordinate room setup requests received via secure chat, phone, or in-person for training and conferences at AHS facilities.
6. Produce regular departmental dispatch/service request reports, lunch break schedules, and daily staff coverage coordination.
7. Perform other related duties as assigned.
8. Manage end-of-shift reports daily.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• College degree in EVS/Transport or related field preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure a safe environment for patients.
• Good customer service skills required.

Relevant Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in dispatching, healthcare operations, administration, or relevant hospital environment preferred.
