Job summary

Qualifications

• Healthcare EVS leadership experience in acute-care hospital settings.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a management role overseeing hourly and salaried staff.
• Proven leadership in healthcare Environmental Services.
• Experience overseeing supervisors and large frontline EVS teams.
• Strong understanding of infection prevention and Joint Commission standards.
• Ability to improve patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and discharge cleaning efficiency.
• Experience managing labor, productivity, staffing, budgets, and operational performance.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical teams.
• Associate degree preferred; bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• CHESP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, engage and develop teams across EVS operations.
• Develop and maintain client rapport; model excellent customer service.
• Manage budgets, labor, supplies, and equipment; monitor P&L statements.
• Improve margins through data-informed decisions and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and infection-control standards.
