Job summary

Wayne HealthCare in Greenville, OH is seeking an EVS Department Cleaning Specialist for a full-time role. The position is primarily on the second shift, with alternating shifts to meet department needs and weekend and holiday rotation. This role reports to the Senior Director of Support Services and requires the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, maintain equipment, and uphold professional standards with staff, patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Physically able to climb ladders.
• Lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand, kneel, bend, squat, crouch, and crawl.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks: wash walls, windows, doors, ceilings, fixtures, furniture, shelves, mop floors, vacuum carpets.
• Change cubicle curtains and drapes.
• Follow written and verbal instruction.
• Maintain service cart supplies and equipment.
• Maintain a positive attitude towards staff, guests, patients and visitors.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Follow and adhere to standard policies and procedures.
• Work unsupervised.
• Maintain a professional manner at all times.
• Successful completion of the orientation process.

Position:

This full time position is primary to second shift; however, this individual will be scheduled on alternate shifts to meet the need of the department. Weekend and Holiday rotation will occur. This position reports to the Senior Director of Support Services.
