Episcopal Health Services Inc. (EHS) is seeking a Manager to supervise the Environmental Services Department, ensuring the facility is clean and orderly.

Evening shift 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, 75,000–90,000 USD annually with potential shift differential; full-time position at 75 hours bi-weekly. The role reports to the Environmental Services Department and oversees staff and operations at St. John’s Hospital and affiliated sites.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in relevant field required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 5 years relevant experience in healthcare.
• Knowledge of environmental services procedures, applicable laws, and government regulations.
• Previous Environmental Services managerial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control the activities of the EVS department.
• Ensure supplies are available for staff to complete their assignments daily.
• Monitor employee time and attendance.
• Validate and document terminal cleaning regularly.
• Complete Bed Report each morning and communicate bed availability and room readiness.
• Adjust staffing patterns in accordance with Hospital census.
• Monitor linen distribution on the units adjusting delivery counts in accordance with Hospital census.
• Monitor work performance and prepare reviews and/or evaluation for assigned personnel.
