Job Description

SUMMARY

Perform daily cleaning of restrooms, electronic gaming machines, fixtures, furniture, windows and floors while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and excellence. Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe environment in all areas of the casino.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Performs vacuuming, mopping, window washing, restroom cleaning, trash removal, office cleaning and back of house area cleaning.
  • Cleans, sanitizes and/or disinfects exterior of electronic gaming machines, chairs, gaming tables, doors, toilets, sinks and other touchpoints.
  • Follows company guidelines for cleaning biohazardous spills.
  • Maintains work area with a standard of excellence in cleaning and detailing.
  • Follows proper cleaning, sanitizing, or disinfecting processes.
  • Assists guests by answering questions and shows guests where their desired location is on property.
  • Cleans outside areas as required.
  • Performs duties as assigned within a project of detail cleaning.
  • Operates heavy duty cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, vacuums and extractors.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

No supervisory/management authority.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

6 months of general work experience or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work may be performed in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled office settings and casino floors which includes exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise. Work requires lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
