Acorn Ridge Casino is seeking an Environmental Services Attendant to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming casino environment in Plymouth, CA. The role covers public areas, gaming floors, offices, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in line with tribal policies.

Required to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently or as part of a team, and obtain a Tribal Gaming License or work permit as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and polish floors, surfaces, and fixtures according to established procedures.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and properly dispose of waste.
• Clean and restock restrooms with supplies such as soap, paper products, and sanitizers.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to supervision.
• Follow proper handling, storage, and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in compliance with health, safety, and Tribal regulatory requirements.
• Provide courteous and professional service to guests and team members at all times.
• Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and urgent cleaning needs to ensure guest and employee safety.
• Support responsible gaming and maintain awareness of security and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Description

The Environmental Services (EVS) Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the casino property. This role supports guest satisfaction by ensuring all public areas, gaming floors, offices, and back-of-house spaces meet established cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards while adhering to Tribal policies and regulatory requirements.

Licenses and Certifications

Must meet all background investigation and suitability requirements.

Education and Experience

Highschool diploma or GED preferred.

Priorcleaning, janitorial, or EVS experience preferred but not required .
