Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking an EVS Associate to maintain the cleanliness of patient care and administrative areas. The role involves performing cleaning tasks in assigned areas, preparing Environmental Service carts, and ensuring rooms for incoming patients are prepared to high standards.

You will remove linens, manage spill cleanups, and apply infection control practices to protect patients and staff. English language fluency is required, and prior healthcare cleaning experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas using prescribed methods.
• Prepare the Environmental Service carts for the assigned area.
• Spot clean, dust, polish, sweep, mop floors, clean fixtures, showers, commodes, and miscellaneous cleaning in assigned areas including rooms for incoming patients.
• Remove soiled linens and change beds with clean linens.
• Assist in cleaning of emergency spills observed or upon request.
• Apply proper infection control practices and isolation techniques.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Janitorial Associate you will be responsible for the general cleanliness of the following areas at the Medical Facilities: patient care areas, administrative areas, ancillary support areas, rest rooms, and all other areas requiring Environmental Services support.
