Xanitos, Inc. is seeking a 1st EVS Assistant Director for Baptist Crittenden in West Memphis, AR. You will oversee the EVS department, coordinate supervisory staff, and ensure staff training per The Joint Commission guidelines. You will act as the admin liaison in the director's absence.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, customer service orientation, and clear communication as you manage scheduling, standards, and budgets to maintain sanitized, well-presented facilities.

Qualifications

• Vaccination against COVID-19 is required as a condition of employment (subject to medical/religious exemptions).
• Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Demonstrated progressive growth in healthcare EVS facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and annually review standards and procedures for all EVS staff per facility policies.
• Plan work schedules, hours, areas, and duties to ensure adequate EVS services.
• Inspect facility condition and recommend repairs and furnishings.
• Provide monthly administrative progress reports on accomplishments and staff training.
• Coordinate outside services for EVS (e.g., pest control, waste management).
• Discipline associates when needed and conduct follow-up investigations.
