Job summary

Sharp TriCity is seeking an EVS Aide for the evening shift (3 PM–11:30 PM) at Tri-City Medical Center, San Diego area. This full-time role focuses on housekeeping and sanitation of patient areas, offices and public spaces, with weekend rotation every other weekend.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent; prior housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred; ability to read labels and safely handle cleaning solutions.

The position is now available to be filled by internal candidates that are not members of the ratified Bargaining Unit or External candidates to Sharp.**What You Will Do**This job performs a variety of housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain order and sanitary conditions in patient care, administrative offices, and public areas.**Preferred Qualifications*** H.S. This includes proper hand washing and hand sanitizing at all times.Understand the role and responsibility of the position in the event of a disaster.Clean discharge/occupied rooms according to the departmental training checklist.Maintain professional and courteous customer service at all times.Maintain current status with all hospital requirements (Annual TB Skin Test, Fit Testing, Net Learning, other requirements).**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities*** Must be able to work with cleaning solutions and chemicals and have knowledge of proper handling of these cleaning solutions.
