Job summary

Bordertown / Indigo Sky Casinos is seeking a dedicated EVS/Housekeeping team member to maintain daily casino cleanliness and guest areas. You will sanitize bathrooms, mop floors, and remove waste in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires knowledge of cleaning fluids, good communication, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays. A high school diploma or GED is required, and opportunities exist to obtain/maintain gaming licensing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily casino cleanliness and hygiene areas.

• Vacuum, dust, sweep, and mop floors as needed.
• Sanitize tables, walls, and other high-touch areas.
• Work nights, weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Starting Rate: $15.68 an hourESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Maintains the daily care of the CasinoKeeps the bathroom clean by mopping the floors, cleaning bodily fluids and feminine hygiene products, wiping the mirrors and walls as considered necessary.Remove dust and smudges from slot machines.Bag the trash and dispose of it in the trash containers outside.Good attendance and timeliness at casino is mandatory.Sanitizes tables, walls, toilets, door handles, and etcMust vacuum, dust, sweep, and mop floors/desks as needed.JOB PREREQUISITES:Knowledge of cleaning fluidsAbove average oral communication skillsExcellent customer serviceProblem solving capabilityHigh capacity for learningThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. Must be able to lift, push or pull at least 50lbs, push dust mop, mop a floor, bend, squat, kneel, twist, reach/clean above head, clean bodily fluids and feminine hygiene products and etc.WORK ENVIRONMENT: We maintain an alcohol/drug-free workplace. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform in casino operations containing smoke and second hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
