How can you make a difference?

The EVM Assessment Support Consultant will assist the MoPH in the complete execution of the EVM Assessment, development of Improvement Plan (IP), ensure the proper application of (SOPs) for iSCM and adopt best practices in immunization supply chain management. The consultant will also support in trainings, workshops, and the establishment of operational frameworks for ongoing EVM processes. Additionally, the consultant will identify needs for improvement, integration and future development within iSCM systems.

Work Assignment Expected Results

  1. Support in weekly summary reports; and monthly summary reports including progress and deliverables achieved against deliverables for both MoPH and UNRWA assessments.
  2. Country setup & Preparation: Assist with setting up the country’s EVM assessment framework, aligning administrative regions, health facilities, vaccine stores, and ensure all assessors data is entered and usernames are created.
  3. Tailor EVMA 2.0 tools to fit Lebanon’s specific context and ensure all logistical and IT-related preparations are complete.
  4. Prepare EVM Country Management Team members on their roles & responsibilities during EVM assessment and improvement plan implementation.
  5. Configure 60 to 70 tablets needed and ensure all have the EVM application downloaded and ready to be used.
  6. Contribute to data analysis, results analysis workshops, interpretation of findings, and support in finalizing the assessment report.
  7. Draft the final reports, for UNRWA and for MoPH.
  8. Develop the EVM Improvement Plan for MoPH and for UNRWA.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public health, immunization supply chain management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience working directly with vaccine management systems, supply chain logistics, or EVM assessments, preferably in a low-middle-income country.
  • Experience in technical assistance and capacity building for government or international organizations is essential.
  • Organized and able to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in data analysis; quantitative data analysis skills.
  • Proficient in report writing.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
