We are looking for a Product Owner – Core Team to focus on our EverHealth Brand. EverHealth provides modern end-to-end solutions for healthcare providers. The EverHealth team seeks a highly experienced and passionate Product Owner to help us elevate our products and solutions to meet market demand and proactively elevate our solutions to meet regulatory compliance in the EHR/PM market.
About You:
We are looking for a technically minded Product Owner to conceive of and execute initiatives and experiments to improve and scale our back-end services and internal tools. As a mission-driven challenge-lover, you thrive on solving complex problems with a strong human dimension. You’re an expert at managing complexity and can devise solutions despite constraints like competing stakeholder needs and compliance needs. You'll empower your team to break large-scale projects into manageable parts, develop robust implementation plans, and clearly articulate your plan with stakeholders.
About the Role:
The Product Owner – Core Team will own and work with stakeholders to deliver enhancements across the DrChrono platform’s foundational services, including APIs (REST/FHIR), internal tools such as user and account management, authentication/SSO, EHR practice group management, feature roll-out capabilities, partner application integrations, security compliance, and developer enablement tools.
As a Core Product Owner:
- Acts as the customer’s representative in the Product Development Life Cycle. Gathers and prioritizes requirements, manages sprints, defines epics/user stories, and focuses on execution.
- Work closely with our business partners and customers to understand desired outcomes, identify opportunities to deliver business value, and create product plans that balance rapid innovation with achieving a longer-term vision.
- Define and track metrics around platform reliability, internal user satisfaction, operational efficiency, and compliance.
- Deep technical understanding of APIs, health data, and FHIR, as well as the ability to understand how these APIs can be best used to improve healthcare delivery.
- Partner with project teams, vendors, engineering, architecture, analytics, systems specialists, and other technical resources in this hands-on role, driving platform capabilities from inception to implementation. Also work with security, compliance, and legal to ensure core platform components meet all regulatory and privacy requirements.
- This role requires superior communication and presentation skills to articulate what we are doing and how we are doing it to a variety of cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and team members.
- Promote product and engineering best practices by engaging with engineering and design partners to strive for product excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement of internal platforms and services that underpin the DrChrono EHR, partnering closely with engineering, compliance, and security teams to deliver stable, scalable infrastructure.
- Experience gathering requirements and delivering solutions for internal users (e.g., support, operations, engineering) is highly desired.
Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Design, Business Development, and Marketing to develop and release features focused on improving the efficiency and usability of our internal tools and platforms.
- Identify scalable solutions to help internal stakeholders succeed while driving a better customer experience from the inside out.
- You’ll own and prioritize enhancements for foundational platform services, including API/FHIR, internal tools, user and account management, SSO/SAML, partner integrations, and developer enablement.
- Simplify, automate, or otherwise improve operational processes through new tooling, first and third-party platform integrations, and architecture improvements driving efficiency for the organization.
- Provide coordination and evaluation of the product development cycle for the DrChrono application for back-end development support.
- Define product requirements and collaborate with Design and Engineering for the timely delivery of key features and improvements to balance short-term and longer-term needs.
- Brainstorm and solve problems facing patients and providers from first principles through direct experience, deep research, and observation.
- Establish the product vision and strategy for your product area.
- Develop product roadmaps and build alignment across product/engineering teams, cross-functional partners (marketing, customer experience, operations, etc.), and the leadership/executive team.
- Document clear, actionable requirements in Confluence for each platform initiative, ensuring all stakeholders have a shared understanding of scope, objectives, and acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain well-structured Jira stories and tasks, translating high-level requirements into actionable items with clear acceptance criteria, test steps, and traceability to documentation.
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
- A bachelor’s degree in informatics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years as a Product Owner in Product Management, Healthcare industry, Agile, and Delivery of SaaS applications.
- Experience with HL7, FHIR, LOINC, SNOMED CT, and other healthcare data standards
- Strong preference for experience working with Electronic Health Records or clinical support and documentation tools.
- Previous experience working on internal tools and platforms, making workflows and operations more efficient.
- An extremely sharp eye for detail and a strong sense of what types of innovative products will be effective at helping other teams meet their objectives.
- Experience leading an agile software development team, ideally developing data-heavy products with internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to learn fast, understand complex domains, and then document and explain them.
- Be data-driven: define KPIs and reporting, then use the analysis to drive feature development aligned with OKRs.
- You have informed perspectives on software architecture and can articulate the vision of a platform that provides the best experience for software engineers. (BONUS)
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Third-Party CRM Software. (BONUS)
- Experience leveraging AI for product management or developing AI-powered features is a plus. (BONUS)
Where: REMOTE (US)
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $100,000 - $135,000 per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above
