Job summary

JW Affinity IT in Dallas, TX is seeking a seasoned Network/Security Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure service edge capabilities across users, campuses, applications, and remote access.

The role focuses on SSE/SASE, secure web gateway, CASB, ZTNA, FWaaS, and SD-WAN integrations, with emphasis on troubleshooting, automation, and vendor collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, networking or related field.
• 5–7 years of network/security engineering experience with SSE or SASE implementations.
• Advanced knowledge of SWG, CASB, ZTNA, FWaaS, DLP, TLS inspection, DNS, and cloud connectivity.
• Experience with Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma, Netskope, Cisco, or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting, automation, and design skills; vendor certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the district’s secure service edge capabilities, integrating cloud-delivered network and security services for users, campuses, apps, and remote access.
• Implement and optimize secure web gateway, CASB, zero-trust access, FWaaS, and SD-WAN integrations.
• Develop and enforce policies, monitor systems, and resolve incidents.

Job Summary

Requirements
