Job Summary:

Diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Obtain call coverage by other medical staff for holidays, vacations, and time off.
2. Maintain the standard of practice for the patient population.
3. Manage a private office and all clinical decision-making during service hours.
4. Advise on operational policies including purchasing, managed care, budgeting, billing, personnel management, risk management, and coding compliance.
5. Provide after-hours call coverage for patients.
6. Participate in community service activities as requested.
7. Ensure risk management, coding compliance, and quality assurance activities are maintained.
8. Work safely and stay alert at all times.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Constant speech, standing, walking, and frequent lifting, sitting, reaching, and data entry.
• Use of vision, smell, and hearing frequently; occasional lifting of heavier objects and moving patients.
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping, and repetitive movements.
• Occasional driving; rare crawling and running.

Required Professional Licenses and Certifications:

• Physician, Licensed - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Medical Physician/Surgeon Temporary or Medical Physician & Surgeon or Osteopathic Physician - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
• Medical Physician - Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision
• Osteopathic Physician & Surgeon - Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners
• Physician - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
