Job Summary:
Diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtain call coverage by other medical staff for holidays, vacations, and time off.
- Maintain the standard of practice for the patient population.
- Manage a private office and all clinical decision-making during service hours.
- Advise on operational policies including purchasing, managed care, budgeting, billing, personnel management, risk management, and coding compliance.
- Provide after-hours call coverage for patients.
- Participate in community service activities as requested.
- Ensure risk management, coding compliance, and quality assurance activities are maintained.
- Work safely and stay alert at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Constant speech, standing, walking, and frequent lifting, sitting, reaching, and data entry.
- Use of vision, smell, and hearing frequently; occasional lifting of heavier objects and moving patients.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping, and repetitive movements.
- Occasional driving; rare crawling and running.
Required Professional Licenses and Certifications:
- Physician, Licensed - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Medical Physician/Surgeon Temporary or Medical Physician & Surgeon or Osteopathic Physician - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Medical Physician - Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision
- Osteopathic Physician & Surgeon - Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners
- Physician - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
