Description
The Clemson University College of Education seeks highly qualified candidates to fill course instruction needs in the Department of Educational and Organizational Leadership Development (EOLD). This part-time opportunity to teach one or more courses is available on an as-needed basis. Courses may be offered in spring, summer, and/or fall terms and be offered in one or more modalities ranging from in-person to asynchronous online. The start date varies according to departmental teaching needs. The areas of content expertise required by the department align with program areas, which include: athletic leadership (MS and undergraduate minor); educational leadership in PK-12 (MEd, EdS, and PhD) and higher education settings (PhD); improvement science (EdD); human capital education development (BS); human resource development (MHRD); student affairs (MEd); and dissertation writing and support. A limited number of full-time visiting positions may be available in some program areas.


Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in a related field Doctoral (or terminal degree) in a related field (required to teach in graduate-level programs) Expertise in content aligned with a departmental program area A commitment to inclusive teaching, creating an inclusive learning and working environment, and working alongside persons with diverse backgrounds Preferred Qualifications: Previous higher education teaching experience Experience teaching with modality in which course is offered Practical experience in an applied field aligned with a departmental program area

Applicants should submit the following documents: Letter of interest that details content expertise aligned with a departmental program area, experience teaching in one or more modalities, and information about teaching availability (terms available, start date available, number of courses available to teach each term with four as maximum) Resume or curriculum vita, names and contact information for three references, and unofficial transcripts. Applications will be received and reviewed on an ongoing basis. The department chair or program coordinator will contact applicants with additional questions or needs if required. Part-time visiting lecturer positions will be filled prior to the start of each term. All applicants will remain in the pool indefinitely unless they request to have their application removed from the pool.
