Job summary

JW Affinity IT in Dallas seeks a Senior Enterprise Networking Architect to define architecture and technical roadmaps for district-wide networks, data centers, cloud connectivity, wireless, and security standards.

Responsibilities include leading major designs, upgrades, and evaluating technologies, while providing guidance on performance and risk. The role requires 8+ years in enterprise networking with architecture leadership and CCNP/CCIE or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of enterprise networking experience with architecture leadership.
• Expert knowledge of routing, switching, wireless, WAN/SD-WAN, firewalls, load balancing, network access control, cloud networking, high availability, and monitoring.
• Experience designing large multi-site environments and producing detailed architecture documentation.
• CCNP/CCIE or comparable advanced certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define the architecture and technical roadmap for the district’s enterprise network, including campus, data center, cloud connectivity, wireless, internet edge, segmentation, security, resiliency, and management.
• Establish standards, lead major designs and upgrades, evaluate technologies, and provide expert guidance on performance and risk.
• Produce architecture documentation for multi-site environments and mentor engineering teams.
