Job description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Technology Architect to play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our critical Salesforce platform and marketing systems. Reporting to the Head of Front Office Technology, this role will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction and ensuring the successful implementation of our front office technology ecosystem. You will be a key contributor to driving the adoption of AI, including Agentic AI, within our front office systems. This is a high-impact opportunity to leverage your expertise and contribute significantly to our continued growth.

This position is part of the CIO Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design & Architecture:Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure solutions on the Salesforce platform, aligned with business requirements and best practices. This includes defining technical specifications, data models, integration patterns, and user interface designs.
  • Technical Leadership:Provide technicalleadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architecturalstandards and best practices. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Salesforce Expertise:Deepen our Salesforce platform expertise by staying abreast of the latest features, releases, and best practices. Provide expert-level knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other relevant modules.
  • Integration & Customization:Design and implement complex integrations between Salesforce and other systems, including marketing automation platforms, Billing systems, and other enterprise applications. Develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other relevant technologies.
  • AI Implementation:Contribute to the strategy and implementation of AI initiatives within the front office, including exploring and deploying Agentic AI solutions. Collaborate with the Head of Front Office Technology to evaluate and select appropriate AI tools and technologies.
  • Performance Optimization:Monitor and optimize the performance of the Salesforce platform, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks. Ensure the platform's scalability and reliability.
  • Security & Compliance:Contribute to ensuring the security and compliance of the Salesforce platform, adhering to IT General Controls (ITGC) and other relevant security policies.
  • Collaboration & Communication:Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to understand their needs and translate them into effective technology solutions. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementationguides.
  • Mentorship:Mentor and guide junior developers and other technical staff.

Skills and Experience Needed for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce platforms, with a strong focus on enterprise-level deployments.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a technical leadership role, guiding development teams and driving successful outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other relevant modules.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce integrations, customizations, and security best practices, including ITGC compliance.
  • Experience with Salesforce development tools and technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and APIs.
  • Experience with AI technologies and a demonstrated ability to contribute to AI adoption within business applications. Experience with Agentic AI is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technology solutions.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Architect) are highly desirable.

Where: This position is a remote/hybrid position located in the US.
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely.Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $170,000 to $190,000 USD with an annual bonus plan in most US locations.Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
