Job description

The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals. It comprises the Chase Wealth Management business, J.P. Morgan Securities, and our digital investing platform. The combined business manages $400 billion in assets and employs 4,000 advisors across 3,500 branches and 21 offices. The Events Marketing Sr. Associate will support event execution for this business.

As an Events Marketing Sr. Associate within the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management business, you will leverage your extensive event execution experience to develop strategies, goals, and objectives that enhance JPMorgan's reputation. Your responsibilities include managing event logistics and collaborating closely with the Affluent Events Manager, retail banking, and regional sales leadership to meet the needs of clients and potential customers. You will also work with various teams across JPMC and within the business. Your role reports to the Head of Thought Leadership Events and Content within the Mass Affluent event team and is part of the broader Inclusive Investing & Events team within the marketing organization.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Manage overall event planning logistics from end to end, including booking speakers and venues, creating menus, managing registration processes, website development and maintenance, client communications (invites, event reporting), and post-event analytics.
  2. Oversee team operations related to budget management, including maintaining budget documents, processing invoices with Accounts Payable, and sourcing/contracting speakers and vendors.
  3. Support TPO Vendor Management by onboarding and maintaining relationships with vendors.
  4. Document team processes as they are established.
  5. Develop and maintain a detailed events calendar in collaboration with the Chase Private Client, Business Banking, and Private Bank events teams.
  6. Manage and develop event registration tools and platforms.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in event planning and execution, including vendor contract negotiations.
  • Experience planning and executing both large-scale and smaller events targeted at affluent and high-net-worth clients.
  • Extensive experience with virtual events, including working with production and online companies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with partners; excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and creative thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt during event execution, maintaining discretion with private client information.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, including outside traditional hours when necessary.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%, typically Monday through Friday.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Experience in media, marketing, or the Wealth Management industry.
