The Anywhere Franchise Brands Event Specialist executes a portfolio of events while working closely with and reporting to a Manager, Events. This position supports the strategy, planning, and delivery of experiential events for Century 21, Coldwell Banker, Coldwell Banker Commercial, Coldwell Banker Realty local and national level events, Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate, and ERA Real Estate, as well as industry events.

Responsibilities Include
  • Support the site search process and preparation of options for presentation to brand leadership.
  • Support event activities for industry events including pre-planning and onsite delivery.
  • Work closely and in collaboration with event and brand leadership to drive all event strategies through management of detailed project plans, program of events, and budget guidelines.
  • Track and maintain detailed event budgets, including invoice management and budget reconciliation, in collaboration with managers.
  • Execute contracts for event vendors including payment submission.
  • Manage logistics of external vendors to ensure quality, consistency, and brand image.
  • Create and manage venue and audio-visual specifications.
  • Support and assist registration processes before and during all events.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to promote event attendance and provide communication details.
  • Assist with the creation and updates of event websites and apps to drive attendance and engagement, in coordination with the Manager, Operations.
  • Manage the housing process and room blocks in conjunction with registration.
  • Coordinate food and beverage selection within budget constraints.
  • Work with the Client Success team on logistics for learning breakout sessions.
  • Develop signage plans, coordinate design, and manage on-site installation.
  • Support development of reception themes, decor, entertainment, and creating engaging moments for attendees.
  • Coordinate ordering and shipment of assets, promotional items, and collateral.
  • Assist with event overviews and debriefs, including financial summaries and strategic follow-ups.
  • Manage virtual events using Teams as needed.
  • Support the Events Team on other events and projects.
  • Create and maintain a positive, professional, and collaborative environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or 3+ years of industry experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and C-suite leadership.
  • Experience with vendor management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • High energy, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Monday.com.
  • Ability to travel 4-6 times per year, possibly more.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
  • Preferred candidates based in Illinois, Indiana, or Ohio, but open to applicants from any central region due to travel requirements and time zone considerations.
