The Anywhere Franchise Brands Event Specialist executes a portfolio of events while working closely with and reporting to a Manager, Events. This position supports the strategy, planning, and delivery of experiential events for Century 21, Coldwell Banker, Coldwell Banker Commercial, Coldwell Banker Realty local and national level events, Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate, and ERA Real Estate, as well as industry events.
Responsibilities Include
- Support the site search process and preparation of options for presentation to brand leadership.
- Support event activities for industry events including pre-planning and onsite delivery.
- Work closely and collaboratively with event and brand leadership to manage project plans, programs, and budgets.
- Track and maintain detailed event budgets, including invoice management and reconciliation.
- Execute contracts with event vendors and manage payments.
- Manage logistics of external vendors to ensure quality and brand consistency.
- Create and manage venue and audio-visual specifications.
- Support registration processes before and during events.
- Coordinate with the Communications team to promote events and drive attendance.
- Assist with updating event websites and apps to engage attendees.
- Manage housing and room blocks in coordination with registration.
- Assist with food and beverage planning within budget constraints.
- Coordinate logistics for learning breakout sessions with the Client Success team.
- Drive signage and decoration plans, working with marketing and management.
- Order and manage assets, promotional items, and collateral for events.
- Develop event overviews and debriefs, including financial summaries and lessons learned.
- Support virtual events via Teams as needed.
- Assist the Events Team with additional projects and events.
- Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to manage stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
- Vendor management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High energy and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Monday.com.
- Ability to travel 4-6 times per year, possibly more.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Preferred location in Illinois, Indiana, or Ohio; open to candidates from other central states due to travel and timezone considerations.
