The Anywhere Franchise Brands Event Specialist
The Anywhere Franchise Brands Event Specialist executes a portfolio of events while working closely with and reports to a Manager, Events. This position supports the strategy, planning and delivery of experiential events for Century 21, Coldwell Banker, Coldwell Banker Commercial, Coldwell Banker Realty local and national level events, Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate, and ERA Real Estate as well as industry events.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the site search process and preparation of options for presentation to brand leadership.
- Support event activities for industry events including pre-planning and onsite delivery.
- Work closely and in collaboration with event and brand leadership to drive all event strategies through management of detailed project plans, program of events and budget guidelines.
- Track and maintain detailed event budgets, including invoice management and budget reconciliation, in collaboration with managers.
- Execute contracts for event vendors including payment submission.
- Manage logistics of external vendors ensuring quality, consistency, and brand image.
- Create and manage venue and audio-visual specifications.
- Support registration processes before and during all events.
- Coordinate with the Communications team to drive event attendance and communication details.
- Assist in creating and updating event websites and apps to enhance engagement.
- Manage housing and room blocks in conjunction with registration.
- Work on food and beverage selection within budget.
- Coordinate logistics for learning breakout sessions with the Client Success team.
- Drive signage planning and manage design, ordering, and installation.
- Support development of reception themes, décor, entertainment, and wow moments.
- Coordinate ordering and shipments of assets and collateral.
- Assist in developing event overviews and debriefs, including financial recap and learnings.
- Manage virtual events via Teams when needed.
- Support the Events Team on various projects.
- Create a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or 3+ years of industry experience.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and C-suite leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management and multitasking skills.
- High energy and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Monday.com.
- Ability to travel 4-6 times a year, possibly more.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Based in Illinois, Indiana, or Ohio preferred, but open to applicants from any central US state due to travel and time zone considerations.
