Job summary

King & Spalding LLP, a leading global law firm, seeks an Events Assistant to support planning and execution of internal and external meetings, conferences, and networking events. You will work with the Marketing Department and event stakeholders to deliver polished, well-coordinated experiences.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about event management, hospitality, and client service, gaining exposure to logistics, production coordination, and on-site

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Exemplary interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Review event briefs and related materials for invitations; ensure alignment with brand standards.
  • Support event registration setup, weekly RSVP reports, and attendance tracking.
  • Assist digital event marketing and setup in the firm’s platform; familiarity with Vuture preferred.
  • Help with event logistics, vendor coordination for food, beverage, production and materials; manage timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate production of on-site materials (name badges, signage, surveys, menus) and shipping/logistics.
  • Monitor event calendar, manage inventories and support budget tracking and invoice processing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
