Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, creative writing, graphic design, organizational management, or other related fields.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating outreach or academic programs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage logistics for large and complex events.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience developing promotional or communications materials.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience managing social media platforms.
• Demonstrated graphic design ability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate departmental events across units and manage logistics.
• Oversee event records, budgets, and vendor/partner coordination.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and reimbursements; document communications with vendors and participants.
• Manage event registration, catering, space reservations, and related tasks.
• Coordinate and assist with recurring events such as speaker series and receptions.
• Manage content for departmental website and email/news communications.
