Astera Institute is seeking an Events and Communications lead to shape its external presence and internal culture as a research institute. Reporting to the COO, you will own programming of events, convenings, and communications, and drive how AI-forward work is shared with audiences and internal teams.

Responsibilities span event design end-to-end, developing scalable playbooks and vendor networks, while shaping Astera's voice across the website, materials, and social channels.

Formación

• Design and execute convenings end-to-end, including logistics and guest experience.
• Capable writer with Astera-appropriate voice and editorial direction.
• Direct comms work and manage external contracts across modalities.
• Experience building systems, playbooks, vendor relationships, and budgets for scalable programming.
• Track record of collaborating with technical or research-driven people.

Responsabilidades

• Design and run events end-to-end, from symposia to socials, with attention to detail.
• Shape external comms strategy and own execution across channels.
• Manage website, blog, and social updates, coordinating evolving content.
• Run calendar of events and production pipeline behind it.
• Build a roster of external contractors and manage scope, timelines, and budgets.
