Job summary

The Greenleigh River Oaks, opening Summer 2026, seeks an Events & Catering Cook to prepare and execute menu items for meetings, weddings, and special events in a fast-paced, high-standards kitchen.

Collaborate with Banquet Chef and culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences that reflect Makeready’s elevated standards and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Line Cook, preferably in banquets, catering, or high-volume kitchens.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items for banquet and catering events according to recipes and specification.
• Execute food production in a timely manner to meet event schedules and service standards.
• Ensure consistency in quality, portioning, and presentation of all dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen stations.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Assist with food prep, inventory organization, and storage as needed.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth event execution.
• Conduct quality checks on food before service to ensure standards are met.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of banquet culinary operations.

This role works closely with the Banquet Chef and culinary team to deliver memorable dining experiences that reflect the elevated standards of the property.

Requested Tasks:

• Prepare and cook menu items for banquet and catering events according to recipes and specification

Requested Capabilities:
