Job description

The Communications and Events Officer will be responsible for organising group-wide events, both remote and face-to-face, including developing event materials and supporting the marketing and communications team with content creation and marketing collateral.

Applications will be shortlisted on receipt, and interviews will be held on the 17th of July via Microsoft Teams. The closing date may be earlier depending on application volume.

About the role

Your main duties will include:

  • Leading the development of the organisation’s event strategy, including setting objectives and success measures.
  • Planning and delivering external and internal events, considering venues, materials, speakers, content, reviews, budget, and timelines.
  • Managing event collateral, including distribution and organizing returns.
  • Conducting post-event evaluations and producing reports for stakeholders.
About you

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience in communications, events, or a related field, or relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong grasp of grammar.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to workload changes.
  • Experience working within large, complex, and multi-site organisations.
