Job summary

Oak View Group in Champaign, IL is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support venue distribution, inventory, receiving, and order processing. This role requires excellent attendance, open availability for evenings and weekends, and the ability to work independently with sound judgment.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation and organization of warehouse storage, fulfilling event requirements, managing stocking levels, and transferring products between locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of foodservice / hospitality / warehouse experience preferred; similar venue experience a plus.
• Flexible work schedule; weekend availability.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work in hot/cold environments.
• Ability to work in environments with elevated noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist with product receiving and distribution control for the venue.
• Maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.
• Fulfill all event expectations, including requisitioning during events, post‑event breakdown, warehouse returns, equipment storage, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Oversee and ensure that appropriate stocking levels are met for each event; rotate and maintain the integrity of products.
• Ensure proper transfer process of product between locations, including follow‑up documentation.
• Assist in performing routine maintenance.
• Maintain concession and utility equipment cleaning and maintenance: portable equipment, burden carriers, carts, floors, refrigeration, and lighting.
• Conduct a walk‑through of the commissary, warehouse, and storage areas after the completion of the day to ensure all areas are clean.
