Job summary

AAA Parking is hiring a valet for special events at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. You will be the first and last contact for guests, greeting them warmly, explaining car procedures, and helping with luggage in a fast-paced, outdoor setting.

The role requires a professional appearance, excellent communication, and the ability to stand for long periods. Prior hospitality or high-end guest service experience is preferred, with flexible scheduling and strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations with poise.
• Ability to stand 100% of the shift and meet physical requirements (lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds, carry up to 10 pounds).
• Flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Successfully pass a background and driving record check.
• Previous experience in hospitality or high-end customer service role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests in a proper manner.
• Explain prices and the car retrieval procedure clearly to guests.
• Open hotel doors for guests and assist with luggage.
• Offer information about the services and facilities of the hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
• Assist guests with special needs or disabilities.
• Retrieve and park vehicles for guests quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain keys in an organized and secure manner.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and well-groomed appearance at all times, adhering to AAA Parking's uniform and appearance standards.
• Work closely with the hotel staff to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate valet operations.
• Support team members during busy periods or special events.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the security of guests and their vehicles.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Perform routine inspections of the valet area and equipment.
