Job summary

Metro’s Oregon Convention Center is hiring a Transportation and Logistics Manager to oversee parking, loading dock, and event logistics. You’ll lead parking operations, manage budgets and staffing, and partner with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

This on-site role requires strong problem-solving, collaboration, and safety leadership in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. Evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in parking, event operations, or venue management.
• Experience with budgeting and staff scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading dock and parking operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate parking plans with event staff, clients, and vendors.
• Manage parking revenue reporting and vendor agreements.
• Develop staffing schedules and lead parking personnel.
• Enforce safety policies across loading dock and traffic areas.
• Support deliveries and mail distribution in partnership with North Dock.
• Maintain signage and ensure accurate guest information during events.
• Lead a team including managers, coordinators, and agents.
