Job summary

Infinix Global Meetings & Events is seeking an event technology specialist to provide expert support for registration, mobile app configuration, OnArrival, and badge printing across client programs. You will help ensure seamless onsite delivery and high-quality technology support from planning through program execution.

The role involves building Cvent websites, configuring attendee content, and coordinating testing, QA, and readiness activities to support successful events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, meetings and events, information systems, business, or related field preferred.
  • Two to three plus years of experience in event technology, registration management, Cvent builds, onsite registration, meeting operations, or related client support preferred.
  • Cvent certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and support Cvent registration websites, including attendee types, registration paths, custom fields, logic, confirmation language, and launch testing.
  • Configure and maintain mobile app components, attendee-facing content, agenda details, push notification support, and related app QA as scoped.
  • Support OnArrival and badge printing setup, including badge stock coordination, equipment planning, check-in workflows, onsite role planning, and test plans.
  • Assist with onsite registration management, attendee issue escalation, badge reprints, registration flow support, and technology troubleshooting during programs as needed.
  • Support lead retrieval setup, exhibitor or sponsor technology needs, onsite staffing, and post-program follow-up when included in scope.
  • Support attendee data structure, data imports, list management, reporting needs, and data quality checks for assigned programs.
  • Create and maintain testing scripts, QA checklists, launch readiness trackers, issue logs, backup plans, and escalation notes for technology-supported programs.
  • Clarify technology scope, timelines, dependencies, client decisions, and ownership for events that require it.
  • Provide consultative input during proposal development or planning when registration, app, OnArrival, lead retrieval, complex attendee data, or onsite technology support is in scope.
  • Document scope changes, timing concerns, risks, and budget-impacting technology requests for review and approval before changes are completed.
  • Maintain reusable templates, build standards, QA practices, and internal documentation to improve consistency and scalability.
  • Keep up with industry technology updates and trends.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

Provides specialized support for event technology services across standalone client needs and full-service Infinix programs. This role supports registration builds, mobile app configuration, OnArrival and badge printing, attendee data structure, lead retrieval, technology testing, QA, onsite readiness, and technology-related execution so event delivery and clients have consistent, high-quality technology support from planning through program delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Build and support Cvent registration websites, including attendee types, registration paths, custom fields, logic, confirmation language, and launch testing.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong working knowledge of Cvent registration tools, mobile app tools, OnArrival, badge printing, and/or related event technology platforms preferred.
  • Solid understanding of registration build logic, attendee data, testing, launch readiness, onsite check-in flow, and technology QA.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors, data issues, workflow gaps, and attendee experience concerns before launch.
  • Ability to work well under event timelines, manage multiple builds or support requests, and communicate clearly when priorities or dependencies change.
  • Strong Excel, data management, Microsoft Office, and documentation skills.
  • Clear, practical communication style with the ability to support Operations teams, clients, vendors, and onsite staff.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting technology issues, documenting resolution steps, and escalating risks when needed.
  • Professional onsite presence with a service-oriented approach to attendee support, client needs, and team coordination.
  • Curious, adaptable, and committed to improving standards, repeatable processes, and quality control.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, meetings and events, information systems, business, or a related field preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Travel – 20 to 50%, including weekend travel.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Stooping, bending, squatting and kneeling may be required.
  • May be required to stand 100% of the time during meetings or programs.
