Job summary

Atrium Hospitality in Branson, MO is seeking an experienced Event Technology Lead to direct our AV, lighting, and conferencing teams and deliver flawless guest experiences.

You will oversee departmental operations, collaborate with Sales and other departments, manage budgets, and guide guests with equipment usage. This role requires hands-on leadership, a hospitality mindset, and strong tech skills to keep events running smoothly.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in AV or event technology roles.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Hospitality background preferred.
  • Strong technical and computer skills.
  • Physically able for events (lift up to 50 lbs).

  • Lead and inspire your Event Technology team to deliver flawless AV, lighting, and conferencing experiences—training, coaching, and supporting them every step of the way.
  • Oversee department operations ensuring top-notch guest experiences while maintaining health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Collaborate with Sales and other departments to deliver seamless event technology solutions on time and within budget.
  • Manage financial performance by controlling labor, equipment, and supply costs—and driving revenue through smart tech initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and execute all AV and event technology setups, supporting guests with expert guidance on equipment use.
  • Coordinate vendor contracts and manage incoming/outgoing shipments to ensure smooth event execution.

Job Description
What You Will Do:

  • Troubleshoot and execute all AV and event technology setups, supporting guests with expert guidance on equipment use.

  • 3+ years in AV or event technology: Because you need solid technical chops to keep the show running.
  • Leadership experience: Great tech skills are only half the story; you inspire and develop your team to do their best.
  • Hospitality background preferred: Knowing the rhythm of guest service helps create memorable event experiences.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Suite, operating systems, and work management tools to keep things efficient.
  • Physically able and flexible: Events happen anytime—weekends, nights, holidays—and lifting up to 50lbs is part of the gig.
