Staffmark Group is now hiring for an Event Staffer in Minneapolis, MN. The role pays $20.00 per hour with a schedule that varies by event, typically 6 AM to 7 PM.

You’ll assist with setup, guest reception, and on-site support for conventions and trade shows, delivering outstanding customer service while staying active for long periods. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and a strong work ethic with flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent customer service and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and teardown of conventions, trade shows, conferences, and events.
• Set up tables, chairs, booths, displays, signage, and event materials.
• Welcome attendees, guests, vendors, and exhibitors with outstanding service.
• Support event registration and check-in by distributing badges, tickets, and materials.
• Provide directions and information regarding event locations, schedules, and activities.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe event spaces throughout each event.
• Restock supplies and promotional materials as needed.
• Assist vendors and exhibitors with event-related support.
• Monitor areas and report safety concerns or operational issues to supervisors.
• Help manage crowd flow and provide general guest assistance.
• Move and transport boxes, displays, and equipment as needed.
• Follow all event, safety, and customer service procedures.
