Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring part-time Event Staff to support venues such as stadiums, arenas and convention centers. No experience is required, with training opportunities and a focus on safety, guest services and crowd management.

Positions offer weekly pay and flexible scheduling for students or those seeking part-time work. Training and verification may occur in Tacoma, with some Seattle work options available. Training rates apply in Seattle and Tacoma.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test required; Driver’s Record check may be required.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Direct guests: entry control, ticket scanning, wristbands/badges verification.
• Direct traffic entering and exiting the venue.
• Understand policies, procedures and regulations of venues and events.
• Greet guests warmly and thank them as they depart.
• Provide directions to enhance the guest entertainment experience.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, natural tone.

Weekly Pay - Flexible scheduling

Part-time

$20/hr in Tacoma

$22/hr in Seattle (you will have the option to work this location if you choose)

No Experience Needed!

Please note: The branch office is located in Tacoma. You may need to complete training or verification in Tacoma before being able to work in Seattle.

Training rates for Seattle $21.30/hr

Training rates for Tacoma $17.13/hr

Allied Universal is looking to hire Event Staff. This position is responsible for duties such as collecting tickets, welcoming and ushering guests, access control, and providing superior customer service.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assists in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Allows appropriate entry into each venue, may collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic coming in and out of the venue.
• Demonstrates an understanding of the policies, procedures and regulations of different venues, facilities and events.
• Initiates a genuine, friendly and personal greeting to our guests as they arrive at your facility entrance, aisle, concourse area or other location, and a sincere thank you as you complete your encounter with each guest.
• Provides guests with helpful directions and/or suggestions that will enhance their entertainment experience.
• Interactions with guests include a smile and use of a natural speaking voice, including natural inflection and a friendly tone.
