Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks is seeking several Community Aide/Event Staff to assist our Horticulture Division with the logistical management of private events such as weddings, conferences, and galas. Selected candidates will be on a list of event staff notified when work is available, able to work up to 25 hours per week, with evening and weekend hours required.

They will handle event setup and breakdown, provide AV equipment support, enforce event rules, and maintain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills expected.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and work evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsabilités

• Prepare venue and break down equipment before and after events.
• Provide audio-visual equipment support as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service to guests.
• Ensure adherence to COVID-19 protocols.
• Direct parking for larger events.
• Perform light custodial duties during events.
• Work under the supervision of the event manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
