Job summary

Legends Global is seeking part-time Event Staff for venues in Rockford, IL. Under direction of the Guest Services and Security Manager, you will support guest experience, assist with seating, ticket scanning, and security procedures during events.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Training will cover venue policies and safety procedures, and opportunities for advancement may be available within Legends'

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of building policies, procedures and event requirements.
• Ability to provide access control and crowd management for venue safety.
• Ability to scan tickets and assist guest entry and parking areas.
• Ability to work extended, irregular hours including nights, weekends, holidays.

Under direction of the Guest Services and Security Manager, the Part Time Event Staff members primary responsibilities include the following functions in accordance with ASM policies.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Provide the primary level of guest assistance in the seating area* Required to have a thorough knowledge of building policies, procedures, and event requirements* Provide access control, crowd management, and ensure the venue is safe for guests* Operate the elevator with professionalism and courtesy* Maintain restricted and barricaded areas for security purposes* Assist entering patrons into the facility and scan all tickets for events* Assist entering patrons into parking areas and collect admission**Skills and Abilities*** Ability to understand and follow instructions* Ability to work with minimum supervision and understand verbal and written instructions* Must be friendly and personable with excellent customer service skills* Must be a team player and work well with others* Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule**Physical Demands*** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
